Cheap beer, pretty women and a different atmosphere is what attracts many stag weekends to European cities. Eastern Europe has taken over from the more traditional cities such as Amsterdam and Barcelona as popular stag destinations. 

However you want to ensure the best possible deal on flights, since the cost can be a bit of a stretch for some of the less financially well endowed amongst us. 

The key surprise surprise is book early, cheap flight deals are available to many destinations but it is important you get in there early, your stag weekend is looking to go abroad and so are many others. Be realistic though, you might have heard of £50 return to Barcelona from a bloke in the pub but these are very hard to find. 

We find every year there is a trend for one or two particular destinations in 2007 it seems to be Krakow, in 2006 it was Riga, this means that previously cheap flights which attracted people in the first place go up. Pick two or three possible European destinations for the stag weekend then pick the one with the cheapest air fares. 

Lastly don't pay for people before they pay you. Seems obvious but we are increasingly hearing stories  of people paying for the flights up front only to be let down by friends. Let them do it themselves or at least ensure you have the cash.
